If you are new to Pilates you may like to have a personal training session to check that when you perform Pilates exercises either in class or at home you do so correctly, with the proper alignment and technique. This is a good way to gain confidence and understanding in the correct, safe and ultimately effective way to perform the exercises at your own level. You can use these sessions to learn the basic techniques of deep muscle control and focused breathing which are the basis of the method. You may wish to continue with personal training, where the one-to-one tuition will help you to progress quickly as the program is tailored specifically for you, with all your realistic individual needs and goals in mind. The use of contemporary equipment such as the swiss ball and stability roller will be a further challenge and also help improve your fitness. Personal tuition is also good for advanced students. Benefits may include: All sessions will incorporate the 9 principles of Pilates - Concentration, Breath, Centring, Precision/Quality, Flowing Movement, Control, Awareness, Stamina and Relaxation. A personal training session in your own home lasts for one hour and costs £35 You can share the training session with a friend or relative in your home (space allowing) for £40 per hour for two people and £45 for three, any more than three and the session will become less personal and therefore needs to be discussed further. Discounts are available for booking 6 or 12 sessions in advance. TERMS AND CONDITIONS I would only change or cancel a session if absolutely necessary, this is highly unlikely and I will always do my best to accommodate your session and needs.
